      “Carrières Vides” Performance (Paris, Plateau Urbain – Les Carrières)

      2022

      At the conclusion of my artistic residency at Les Carrières (Plateau Urbain, Paris, 2022), I participated in a site-specific performance marking the end of this shared creative space.

      Designed as an immersive, participatory event, this final action transformed the empty industrial architecture into a stage for movement, sound, and collective presence—bringing together artists and the public in an ephemeral, unrepeatable moment of exchange.


      Sound & Image Recording for “Women in Science” Documentary Project (AGRAFr, Season France-Portugal)
      2022

      I participated in the audiovisual production of three interview-based videos, filmed in Paris and Angers, for the project “Témoignages de femmes scientifiques: l’égalité de genre dans la recherche au Portugal et en France”.

      This initiative, produced by AGRAFr as part of the Season France-Portugal, highlighted the experiences of women in science, fostering discussions on gender equality in research.


      Mother’s Day Online Event (Withlocals & Retirement Home in Portugal)
      2020

      During the COVID-19 pandemic, I created and led an online artistic and cultural event for elderly residents in a Portuguese retirement home, in partnership with Withlocals.

      Through traditional music, poetry, and storytelling, this initiative aimed to bring joy and connection to seniors isolated from their families.

      The event was documented and shared as part of Withlocals’ global initiative to promote cultural exchanges and meaningful interactions.


      Tears of Hope – Art Therapy for Dementia (Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal)

      2013

      A pilot project led by Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Vila Nova de Gaia, in partnership with research and educational institutions, exploring art as a non-pharmacological intervention for dementia.

      This project integrated painting, drawing, and multisensory activities, fostering creative expression for individuals affected by memory loss.

      Partners included FBAUP (Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto), Fundação Serralves, and UNIFAI (Unidade de Investigação e Formação sur Adultos e Idosos).

      O Corpo – Audiovisual Project with University Students (Université Paris Nanterre, France)

      2023

      An interdisciplinary project developed with students from the Department of Portuguese at Université Paris Nanterre, in collaboration with the research project “Escritoras de Língua Portuguesa no Tempo da Ditadura Militar e do Estado Novo”.

      This project explored feminist literature, visual poetry, and shadow theatre, drawing inspiration from “O Corpo” by Novas Cartas Portuguesas and the works of Ana Hatherly and Lourdes Castro.

      Through sound, movement, and visual experimentation, students engaged in a collective creative process, translating literary themes into performative and audiovisual expressions.


      President of the Jury – “Concurso Fotográfico de Leitura” (Camões, I.P.)

      2022, 2023 ,2018

      I served as the President of the Jury for the “Concurso Fotográfico de Leitura”, a photography competition organized by Camões, I.P.

      The contest encouraged participants to explore visual storytelling and artistic interpretation of reading and literary culture.


      Video Production for Portuguese Language Promotion (Camões, Institute for Cooperation and Language, France)

      2022 - 2023

      Commissioned by the Coordination of Portuguese Language Teaching in France (Camões, I.P.), this project involved the production of two educational videos designed to promote the Portuguese language and its cultural heritage.

      Developed in collaboration with educators and linguists, the videos aimed to engage diverse audiences, highlighting the richness of Lusophone cultures while supporting language learning initiatives in France.


      “Contos do Dia Mundial da Língua Portuguesa” – Student Mentorship & Award Recognition (Camões, I.P., Plano Nacional de Leitura, Porto Editora)

      2022

      As part of the World Portuguese Language Day short story competition, I worked with students in the Atelier de Langue Portugaise.

      Our students received prestigious awards, including 1st Prize (Ana Patrícia Ramos Matias, 2nd-year student) and an Honorable Mention (Samanta de Almeida Castro, 1st-year student) in the C1/C2 Juvenile/Adult category.


      Universidade Júnior – Photography & Printmaking Workshops (FBAUP, Porto, Portugal)

      2011 - 2013

      As part of Universidade Júnior, Portugal’s largest university outreach program for middle and high school students, I led photography and printmaking workshops at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto (FBAUP).

      During these summer programs, students engaged with photographic processes, darkroom techniques, and experimental printmaking, gaining hands-on experience with composition, light, and material exploration.

      This initiative introduced young participants to artistic practices in a university setting, fostering creativity and curiosity through practical artistic experimentation.
