I create documentary films that reflect on territory, belonging, and identity. My work explores everyday lives, memory, and the way cultural groups preserve or transform their traditions. From intimate portraits to broader social landscapes, I seek the gestures and voices that shape who we are.
“Over There" is a documentary that portrays the daily life of three Portuguese folk groups in France during a year, in a constant conversation about folklore, family, and tradition. A window into the lives, hearts, and minds of people that dedicate their entire lives to a representation of themselves and their own identity.

“In the Rhythm, Our Roots” is a film about movement, gestures and journeys. We move from one place to another and the rhythms of our departure accompany us with each step towards the unknown.
In a migration context, dance can articulate a memory, a rite. Each foot in a new land, to the rhythm of the original one. Music from our first language heard in a new language. Although we are all different, connecting with our roots is something that unites us as human beings, no matter what nationality.
